The Data Privacy training session organized by DPMAS in partnership with the Human Resources Management Association of Barbados has been hailed as “timely and informative” by attendees.
Ms. Dale Niles, Group Human Resources Manager, commended the effort, stating, “It takes a certain degree of skill and knowledge to break down a complex and complicated subject such as ‘Data Privacy’ and make it relevant, understandable, and operational. Steven Williams, Principal Consultant of DPMAS, ably unpeeled the layers surrounding this matter.”
She further added, “His real-life experiences and anecdotes bolstered and further clarified the technical aspects of the ‘Act,’ making it relevant as we seek to comply with and apply these requirements. His objective for the session was for us to have an operational understanding of the Act. The objective was met.”
These training sessions mark a significant milestone in DPMAS’s ongoing commitment to enhancing Data Privacy awareness and compliance in Barbados and the wider Caribbean region.
